Food Justice Forum a Success

Posted by Keith Pezzoli on April 21, 2011 at 04:05 PM

The Food Justice Forum, April 16, 2011, inspired by The Global Action Research Center (The Global ARC),  was a success. 139 people participated, including 66 community members, 54 students, 13 UCSD staff members, and 6 faculty members. UCSD’s Sustainability Solutions Institute (SSI) proved themselves once again to be masterful at helping organize this type of public forum. The Global ARC, together with UCSD’s Urban Studies and Planning Program, and Center on Global Justice, led the effort. Calit2 and others provided financial and logistical support. A full list of all those who helped, including bios,  is on the SSI web site (click here).
