Bioregional Workbench
The Regional Workbench is a collaborative network of university and community partners dedicated to enabling sustainable city-region development. We promote multidisciplinary research and service learning aimed at understanding how problems of environment and development interrelate across local, regional and global scales. Taking a forward-looking perspective, the RWBC focuses on the Southern California-Northern Baja California transborder region - especially the San Diego-Tijuana city-region and coastal zone.
Learn more by watching a 28 minute UCSD-TV documentary about the RWBC.
NOTE: The Regional Workbench is no longer being updated. It will be transformed into the Bioregional Workbench over the course of the coming months. We will are developing a platform that takes advantage of open access applications, like Google Maps. To see what we have in very early stages of development, see: Draft Workbench Prototyping.
