Journey 2010 - Vancouver, Canada to Tijuana, Mexico

The first Journey of the Global ARC (Summer 2010) started in Vancouver, Canada and ended in Tijuana, Mexico (spanning three countries and roughly 1800 miles). We explored watersheds, foodsheds, and energy systems along the West Coast of North America by bicycle with a biodiesel support vehicle and film crew. The Journey drew documented a range of community-based solutions (focused on water, food and energy/transportation) happening in urban and rural areas.

The slideshow below contains 250 photos randomly selected from thousands of images we captured on Journey 2010.  We also captured 50+ hours of video including interviews and action shots from sustainability projects in the field. All of this will be posted, as our time, funds and energy permit. Some of it is already on our YOUTUBE and VIMEO channels.
